Salem Media/Tampa Appoints Cassidy as General Manager

Salem Media Group appointment of Carolyn Cassidy as General Manager of its five-station radio group and of Salem Surround in Tampa and Sarasota, FL. She is currently the General Manager of the company's Columbus, OH operations, and will retain those responsibilities in addition to her new role. Cassidy has served in sales leadership and General Management roles in Colorado Springs, Denver, Cape Cod, Vermont and Ohio. She's an active member of the board of the Ohio Association of Broadcasters.

Salem Media Group Regional Vice President Val Carolin commented, "As we worked to fill the big shoes that Barb Yoder has worn so effectively these past 12 years as General Manager, we were thrilled to learn that Carolyn had a strong desire to return to her Florida roots and serve the communities in her home state.
