KBAY to Present "She's Country" with Ellis, Underwood

KBAY (Bay Country 94.5-92.1) in San Francisco announces two guest hosts for its weekly show, "She's Country." The show, dedicated to showcasing the best of female Country artists, airs every Wednesday at noon. On August 30, the spotlight turns to Hannah Ellis. With her new hit song "Wine Country," she's set to share insights into her music journey and offer a behind-the-scenes look at her latest track.

The following Wednesday, the iconic Carrie Underwood takes the reins of "She's Country." She'll be treating listeners to a remarkable episode filled with anecdotes, inspirations and perhaps even a surprise or two.

KBAY Program Director Bo Matthews said, "'She's Country' has become wildly popular. Our Bay Country midday talent, Emily Harlan, is enjoying a much deserved vacation, and KBAY APD Brooks had the idea of tapping some talented female country artists to step in and handle hosting duties for the weekly show. I am excited for Bay Country listeners and the future of 'She's Country.'"

Alpha Media Silicon Valley Market Manager David Drutz added, "It's incredibly important to regularly highlight female artists within Country music and 'She's Country' does that every week. To have artists as talented as Hannah Ellis and iconic as Carrie Underwood take the reins of 'She's Country' for two weeks is an unbelievable honor for Bay Country."
