iHeartMedia Miami Flips WMIA to the New ''Magic 93.9''

iHeartMedia flips AC WMIA-FM/Miami to the new "Magic 93.9," Tus Favoritas de Siempre, effective immediately. The new format features a unique blend of English and Spanish-Language content as listeners will hear a fusion of English-language music from the '80s and '90s anchored by Spanish-language air personalities including El Gato, Ailyn Luaces, Tony Vargas and Santiago Duarte. Magic 93.9 will feature artists such as Whitney Houston, Marc Anthony, Madonna, Lionel Richie, Shakira, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion and more.

"In Miami, the music of the '80s and '90s played a significant role in shaping the cultural landscape," said iHeartLatino President Enrique Santos. "The diverse population, including a large Spanish-speaking community, embraced the vibrant sounds of that time. The new Magic 93.9 will be a unifying sound aiming to provide a listening experience you just can't find anywhere else in the United States."

The station is currently featuring 10,000 songs in a row commercial free.
