RADIO ONLINE | Monday, January 22, 2024 |
Nexstar Media Group's NewsNation, a cable news network, has officially launched the NewsNation Audio Network, providing ready to air audio clips for participating radio stations and audio platforms. Using the company's newsgathering resources, the new audio service will provide radio stations access to its daily content. The NewsNation Audio Network will offer an ongoing daily service of audio clips featuring coverage from its reporters and breaking news stories from across the nation and around the globe.
"We're not all politics. We're broader than that, given our reach of 200 TV stations, and 115 newsrooms across the country, in addition to our reporting, that NewsNation originates on a national level," said Nexstar President, Networks Sean Compton. "It's a great service to have more content in the 'real news' sphere."
Radio newsrooms can sign up for access at NewsNationAudio.com. The new service will offer approximately 70 audio clips a day which can be downloaded at NewsNationAudio.com or can be delivered directly to newsroom systems including NewsBoss.
