DBC Radio/Savannah Ups Nathan James to Operations Manager

DBC Radio promotes Nathan James to Operations Manager for its six-station cluster in the Savannah-Hilton Head market, effective immediately. James will oversee all programming as well as retaining his Program Director/afternoon on-air duties for Country WUBB-FM (Bob 106.9), while adding Program Director duties for CHR WGCO-FM (Hot 98.3), which he has been handling on an interim basis since June, 2023.

"Since Nathan joined our team in 2022, he has proven himself to be strategic, innovative and creative earning him this promotion," said DBC Radio Vice President of Programming Jason Goodman. "He is committed to keeping our brands local and community focused, while implementing his experience in programming, promotions, marketing and digital. Under his leadership, we will have the opportunity to grow our footprint in the South Carolina Lowcountry and Southeast Georgia Region."

"Nathan has shown an incredible amount of creativity towards the stations and his implementation of strategy to engage the audience and provide a better experience he been nothing short of amazing," said DBC Radio Market Manager Aaron Wilborn. James joined DBC Radio after years of similar roles with SummitMedia in Richmond, VA and Omaha, NE; Adams Radio Group in Salisbury-Ocean City, MD; iHeartMedia in Philadelphia, Raleigh and Norfolk-Virginia Beach as well as Max Media and Entercom in Norfolk.
