iHeartMedia appoints David Pigue as Senior Director/Policy Counsel and Sophia Gonzalez is named Manager of Government Affairs, effective immediately. Additionally, iHeart's Government Affairs DC-based office elevates Jessica Marventano and Sara Morris to Executive Vice President and Vice President of Government Affairs, respectively.

Pigue joins iHeartMedia following seven years advising U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK) on technology, telecommunications, consumer protection, finance, banking, budget, tax, health care and judiciary policy issues. Gonzalez most recently served as Deputy Director of Scheduling and Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA). Both Pigue and Gonzalez will report to Marventano.

"David and Sophia together bring a wealth of experience in areas of key importance to iHeartMedia that will be of tremendous value to iHeart's work in Washington on behalf of our more than 860 local radio stations as well as the company's industry-leading digital and podcasting platforms," said Marventano.

"Our company is deeply appreciative of iHeartMedia's Government Affairs team and their hard work on behalf of our company as well as on issues of critical importance to the broadcast radio industry," added iHeartMedia Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman. "I congratulate Jessica and Sara on their promotions, and welcome David and Sophia to the iHeart team."

Marventano has led iHeartMedia's Government Affairs team since 2002 and serves on the Board of the National Association of Broadcasters. Morris joined iHeart in 2015 after three decades in various Hill, federal agency and private sector roles.

Pigue held multiple roles on Senator Sullivan's staff, culminating as Counsel to the Senator, and has experience in transportation law and regulation, having served in the Office of General Counsel in the Department of Transportation.

Gonzalez, a Georgia native, previously served Ossoff in a variety of campaign positions and has worked in the offices of Representative Lucy McBath (D-GA) and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY).
