Beasley Media Group in Boston has announced its newly minted, multi-year partnership with the Boston Athletic Association. WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub), WKLB (Country 102.5), WROR-FM, WBQT (Hot 96.9) and WBOS (Rock 92.9) will provide on-air content and marketing as well as onsite support beginning with the 2024 Boston Marathon.

The Boston Athletic Association (BAA) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1887 with the mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. BAA is responsible for organizing the world's oldest and most prestigious marathon, along with other mass-participatory races and community events throughout the year. This year's Boston Marathon will feature a field of 30,000 athletes from all 50 states and 123 countries. It will also mark the 100th anniversary of the race starting in Hopkinton.

"We are honored to partner with the BAA and The Boston Marathon, which are world renown Boston institutions," said Beasley Media Group/Boston Vice President and Market Manager Mary Menna. Kicking off the day will be Country 102.5 morning host and Boston native Ayla Brown singing The National Anthem.

In addition, both Country 102.5 and 98.5 The Sports Hub will broadcast live from Hopkinton and the voice of The 98.5 Patriots Radio Network, Bob Socci, will provide live updates from the course.

"Commitment to community service and delivering exceptional advertising platforms for our partners is at the heart of everything we do at Beasley Media Group," said Director of Sales Brian Schneekloth. "As we gear up for The Boston Marathon Presented by Bank of America, we are thrilled to enhance the narrative surrounding this iconic event. We are dedicated to amplifying the remarkable philanthropic endeavors that fuel this event's spirit."

"The 128th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America will celebrate athletes embarking on a long-awaited 26.2-mile journey from Hopkinton to Boston," said BAA Chief Marketing Officer Scott Stover. "Along with Beasley Media Group Boston, the B.A.A. is eager to showcase and amplify the stories, excitement, and energy leading up to Patriots' Day. From first time marathoners to a world-class professional field, 10,000 volunteers and thousands more spectators, the magic of the marathon will be on full display on April 15."
