In a significant shift for Wisconsin broadcasting, WISN/Milwaukee's conservative talk host Mark Belling has announced his plans to transition from his daily radio segment on the iHeartMedia News/Talk outlet to a new format. Starting May 2025, Belling will host a weekly podcast series titled "The Mark Belling Podcast," available on the iHeartRadio app and other podcast platforms.

Belling's new venture will incorporate his investigative journalism, with episodes featuring top stories, breaking news and high-profile guests. Despite the change in medium, the podcast aims to maintain the engaging and insightful style that has defined Belling's radio presence over the last three decades.

iHeartMedia Wisconsin Area President Jeff Tyler expressed enthusiasm about the transition, noting that podcasting's rising popularity presents an ideal opportunity for Belling to extend his reach. "Podcasting is now a mass-reach medium, and with iHeartMedia being the No. 1 podcast publisher globally, we are excited that Mark will continue to share his thought-provoking commentary with a broader audience," said Tyler.

Listeners can expect "The Mark Belling Podcast" to capture the same dynamic and rigorous commentary as his radio show,. Belling, who has been a pivotal voice in Milwaukee with his slogan "Standing Up For Milwaukee," has spent 35 years at WISN-AM and 18 years in television. His career in radio spans an impressive 48 years, with 42 of those years in Wisconsin.
