iHeartMedia and Tenderfoot TV have announced the launch of their latest series in the "Monster" true-crime podcast franchise, "Monster: BTK." This new installment will delve into the chilling life and crimes of the notorious serial killer known as BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill), focusing on the perspectives of victims and their families, and highlighting the relentless investigations that led to his capture. "Monster: BTK" is set to premiere on January 13, with episodes releasing every Monday.

Since its inception in 2018 with "Atlanta Monster," the "Monster" franchise has become a significant hit in the true crime podcasting space, accumulating over 137 million downloads. The success of the franchise has spawned a series of follow-ups including "Monster: Zodiac Killer," "Monster Presents: Insomniac," and more, culminating now in the sixth season with "Monster: BTK."

The series is hosted by Susan Peters, a veteran journalist who reported on the BTK case as it unfolded. The podcast will feature exclusive interviews with individuals closely connected to the case, including BTK's daughter Kerri Rawson, famed FBI profiler John Douglas, and author Katherine Ramsland. These contributions aim to provide new insights and depth to the well-documented saga of Dennis Rader, who terrorized Kansas from 1974 to 1991 and evaded capture until 2004.

Donald Albright, CEO and co-founder of Tenderfoot TV, expressed enthusiasm about the new season and the ongoing partnership with iHeartMedia, which has significantly broadened the reach and impact of their narratives. Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts, emphasized the franchise's commitment to exploring the deeper societal and cultural contexts surrounding these crimes, beyond just retelling the events.

"Monster: BTK" along with the entire "Monster" anthology is available on the iHeartRadio app and wherever podcasts are found.
