The Broadcast Education Association (BEA) has announced that the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) will be the official sponsor for the upcoming 2025 Career Fair and Graduate Student Showcase. Scheduled for April 8, from 10am-2pm at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, this event aims to bridge the gap between aspiring broadcasters and industry leaders.

In collaboration with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), NAB Leadership Foundation (NABLF), the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), the fair is set to feature a vibrant mix of talent, networking opportunities, and career development sessions.

LABF Co-Chairs Heidi Raphael and Jack Goodman expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership. "Partnering with the BEA at this pivotal event allows us to support and inspire the upcoming generation of media professionals while celebrating the storied history of broadcasting," they stated.

Heather Birks, BEA's Executive Director, highlighted the alignment of the LABF's goals with BEA's educational and professional objectives. "The LABF's dedication to preserving broadcasting's legacy and promoting its future perfectly complements our mission. We are thrilled to facilitate this platform for students and professionals to connect," Birks explained.

The event promises to gather a diverse group of attendees, including students from BEA's Festival of Media Arts, RAB Student Scholars, members of BEA Collegiate Media Chapters, and AERho honors society. It represents a unique opportunity for emerging talents to interact directly with established professionals and leading broadcast companies.
