Townsquare Media has announced the promotion of three veteran employees to spearhead its growth initiatives. Cristina Cipolla is appointed as the company's first Chief Data Officer (CDO), a role crafted to harness the power of data in driving client success and shaping company strategy. Since joining Townsquare in June 2013, Cipolla has worked in the company's data and analytics department, most recently serving as Senior Vice President since January, 2022.

Townsquare's executive team believes Cipolla's extensive understanding of the business will enhance their local and broader market strategies. "Cristina's profound grasp of our business operations and her visionary approach to data utilization make her the perfect candidate for this role," stated Erik Hellum, EVP and COO of Townsquare.

Alongside Cipolla, Matt Kiger steps into the role of Chief Revenue Officer for Local Media, having made significant contributions to the company since his start in March, 2012. Kiger's promotion reflects his leadership and sales strategies that promise to invigorate revenue streams across Townsquare's 74 market operations in digital and broadcast radio platforms.

Hellum praised Kiger's dynamic leadership, noting, "Matt's enthusiasm and commitment to excellence have profoundly influenced our sales teams, driving our playbook's success across all markets."

Additionally, Kelly Quinn is promoted to Chief Revenue Officer of Ignite, Townsquare's in-house programmatic digital advertising arm. Quinn, who has been with the company since its inception in May 2010, will focus on leading Ignite's growth, leveraging its data-driven advertising solutions to bolster client engagement across diverse markets.

"Kelly's unparalleled ability to lead and motivate sales teams positions him ideally to propel Ignite towards continued market dominance," said Todd Lawley, President of Ignite operations.
