Audacy Chief Operating Officer Susan Larkin is appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Radio Board of Directors. The appointment, made by NAB Radio Board Chair Collin Jones, is effective immediately. Larkin brings more than 30 years of experience in the radio industry and currently oversees Audacy's portfolio of markets, revenue and content teams. Her responsibilities span the company's broadcast, podcast, digital, network, and live event platforms, covering music, sports, and news programming.
Before becoming COO, Larkin served as Audacy's Regional President for the San Francisco and Sacramento markets and was previously the market manager for New York. She joined the company, then known as Entercom, in 2017 after serving as regional vice president at Cox Media Group, where she managed radio clusters in Orlando and Jacksonville while overseeing national sales teams.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at ABC-Disney Radio and in national and local sales management in Columbus, Tampa, and Syracuse.
Larkin is also a board member of the Radio Advertising Bureau and has served on the boards of the Florida Association of Broadcasters and Ronald McDonald House Charities. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the State University of New York at Oswego.
Larkin replaces David Field on the NAB Radio Board.
