After a decade of Classic Rock, Daytona Beach station WROD (1340 AM and 104.5 FM) has officially flipped to a Talk format, rebranding itself as "Daytona Talk Radio." The station, previously known as "The Rock of Daytona," unveiled a new name and logo with the change. The format switch includes a mix of local and syndicated programming aimed at talk radio audiences.
Longtime local hosts Frank and Tracy remain in the lineup, now anchoring mornings from 7-9am with The Frank and Tracy Radio Show. They're followed by a full slate of syndicated conservative talk programs, including The Chris Stigall Show (9am-12pm), The Glenn Beck Program (12-3pm), and Florida's Voice with Drew Steele (3-6pm). Evenings feature The Charlie Kirk Show (6-9pm) and The Jesse Kelly Show (9pm-12am).
Weekend programming includes shows from Mike Gallagher and financial expert Dave Ramsey. National news updates are provided at the top of each hour by USA Radio News. As part of the transition, WROD has shut down its longtime website and launched a new online presence at DaytonaTalkRadio.com.
