Binnie Media to Launch Soft Rock ''105.5 The Wave''

Binnie Media is rebranding Country WBYA-FM in Isleboro, ME as "105.5 The Wave." The station will introduce a new format on June 30 designed to serve the communities of Midcoast Maine. Billed as "The Midcoast's new home for Soft Rock," 105.5 The Wave will feature a playlist of familiar favorites from iconic artists including Stevie Wonder, The Carpenters, Lionel Richie, The Bee Gees, Linda Ronstadt, and more.
The station aims to connect with both inland and coastal towns throughout the region, including communities supported by year-round tourism and local business.
