Hubbard Radio is modernizing its broadcast operations with the launch of Radio.Cloud, a cloud-based radio operating system, at its Cincinnati station WYGY (97.3 The Wolf). The move marks the beginning of a broader effort by Hubbard to explore flexible, technology-driven solutions across its Cincinnati cluster.

"Hubbard Radio is committed to exploring this technology to enhance our operations and unlock hidden efficiencies and cost savings only possible with a cloud-based system," said Greg Strassell, Executive Vice President of Programming at Hubbard Radio.

Radio.Cloud, developed by CEO and founder Christian Brenner, offers a browser-based studio environment that supports real-time playout, remote production, and hyper-localized content capabilities. The system is designed to align with evolving broadcast workflows while supporting core goals such as reliability, scalability, and local engagement.

"We're excited and honored to work with a well-respected industry leader such as Hubbard," said Brenner. "Collaborating with some of the top programmers and engineers in the industry to leverage our platform shows our constant evolution and proves Hubbard's commitment to innovating day-to-day operations through cloud-based technology."

According to Dave Garner, Vice President of Engineering at Hubbard, the cloud implementation will help transform the traditional broadcast model. "Embarking on cloud technology will enable us to change the face of traditional broadcasting/workflow systems in the studio plant and ultimately allow us to leverage our local talent and programming content efforts as needed throughout our markets in a reliable, scalable and cost-effective manner," he said.
