Benztown announced today that StudioTexter, a texting and contesting platform built exclusively for radio by Envisionwise, has signed 25 new affiliates during the first half of 2025. The additions bring the platform's total affiliate count to 200 stations. Among the newest affiliates is Latin Pop/AC WEPN-FM (La Exitosa 98.7) in New York.

StudioTexter provides stations with a suite of tools for SMS interaction, including unlimited keywords, free incoming text messages, contest scheduling with winner selection, direct replies, and automated talent messaging. The platform also enables stations to build advertiser lists through keyword-based opt-ins.

Recent upgrades to StudioTexter include message optimization features that reduce outbound message volume to help stations control costs. New displays show SMS and keyword message counts before sending, along with live quota previews after a blast. The platform's user interface has also been updated with clearer layouts for campaign tracking, quotas, and reporting.

New affiliates include groups such as Meruelo Media/Los Angeles; Emmis/New York; Lotus Communications in several markets; Good Karma/Milwaukee; Forever Media/Wilmington; Alpha Media/San Jose, Dayton, and Canton; Adams Media/Fort Wayne; Renda Media; and Townsquare Media's "Free Beer and Hot Wings" in Grand Rapids.

Gary Springfield, Program Director of KOLA 99.5 FM in San Bernardino, CA, praised the platform, saying, "Benztown has hit another home run with StudioTexter. Our crew loves the simplicity, and we couldn't imagine a better platform for the multiple text-to-win contests we do each week."

Envisionwise President and CEO Jackie Parks added, "StudioTexter makes it easy for stations to engage listeners and attract advertisers with contests, SMS blasts, and powerful keyword tools. We're constantly evolving based on station needs and actively developing new APIs with partners to expand what our platform can do."
