GAB Announces 2025 Class of Rising Stars

The Georgia Association of Broadcasters (GAB) has announced its 2025 Class of Rising Stars, honoring 21 young professionals who represent the future of the state's broadcast industry. The honorees will be recognized during GABCON, the association's annual convention, set for September 19-20 at Truist Park.
The Rising Star Award recognizes employees with fewer than five years of professional experience who have shown exceptional promise, strong work ethic, and passion for broadcasting. Candidates are selected for their eagerness to learn and their ability to go above and beyond in creating content that informs, entertains, and connects with audiences.

As part of the convention programming, the Rising Stars will take part in a panel discussion during the GABCON Education Sessions on September 20, where they will share insights and experiences with fellow broadcasters. They will also be recognized during the GABBY Awards that evening.
"By recognizing these incredible young professionals, we're not just celebrating their accomplishments today, we're investing in the future of broadcasting," said GAB President Randy Gravley. "The Rising Stars program highlights the innovation, creativity, and passion that will drive our industry forward."
The program has become a key element of GAB's mission to retain and develop young talent across Georgia, ensuring that the next generation of broadcasters is equipped to lead the industry into the future.
