Q101 Inducted into Illinois Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

WKQX-FM (Q101) Chicago's Alternative station, has been inducted into the Illinois Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66. The ceremony took place Sunday, September 14, at the historic Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet.

Q101 entered the Hall in the Radio Station category as part of the 2025 class, which was honored alongside the combined 2024 and 2025 inductees. This year's class also included Head East and Enuff Z'Nuff in the Artist/Performer category and the late Tim Drummond-bassist for Neil Young and Bob Dylan-in the Songwriter category, among others across multiple fields.

The 2024 class featured Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Richard Marx, The Smashing Pumpkins, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, and Bo Diddley in the Artist/Performer category, with Disturbed receiving the President's Choice Award.
