MusicMaster has expanded its North American operations with the addition of veteran programmer Pete Manriquez, who joins the company as Sales and Support Associate. In this new role, Manriquez will support MusicMaster's Spanish-speaking clients across the Americas and drive new business development throughout Latin America.

Manriquez brings decades of experience in major U.S. markets and across South America, including leadership roles in Lima, Peru. His resume includes serving as VP of Programming for Univision Radio and Program Director for CBS Radio's WLZL (El Zol). He is also widely credited as an early champion of reggaeton's rise to mainstream radio, helping build influential formats such as "La Kalle" and contributing to the launch of numerous Latin and global artists.

Throughout his career, Manriquez has crafted top-rated programming strategies, led large-scale promotional events and concerts, and helped raise more than $2 million for the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon. His impact spans both Latin and U.S. radio, where he's recognized for creative leadership and innovative digital initiatives.

"As we continue to expand throughout Latin America and support our many Spanish-speaking users here at home, I'm confident Pete will help us reach new audiences and bring even greater value to our clients," said Laurie Knapp, CEO of MusicMaster. "With his deep roots in the artistry of music programming and his genuine ability to connect with people, Pete perfectly embodies our mission to empower broadcasters everywhere."

Manriquez called the opportunity a natural fit. "Joining the MusicMaster team is an absolute win," he said. "This software has fueled every victory in my programming career. It's the heartbeat of great radio."
