Beasley Media Group has named Jennifer Williams as its interim corporate communications contact following the departure of Chief Communications Officer Heidi Raphael, who will become President and CEO of the New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA).

In an email to industry colleagues, Raphael said her final day with Beasley will be August 14, ahead of her August 17 start date at NYSBA. She thanked members of the media for their support during her nearly nine years with the company.

"First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your incredible support over the past nine years," Raphael wrote. "It has truly been a pleasure working with you to share Beasley Media Group's news, milestones, and stories."

Raphael said Williams will serve as the company's interim communications contact through the end of the year. "Jennifer has played an important role at both Greater Media and Beasley Media Group over the years and brings an incredible depth of industry knowledge, experience, and professionalism to the role," Raphael said. "She will be a wonderful resource for you."

Williams has served as Beasley Media Group's Vice President of Digital Marketing since 2019, overseeing the company's digital marketing strategy, audience engagement and advertiser growth initiatives. Before joining Beasley, she spent nearly two decades at Greater Media, where she was Director of Digital Marketing and previously served as Marketing Director for WCSX-FM in Detroit. Earlier in her career, she held on-air and marketing positions at stations in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Jackson, MI.

A graduate of Albion College, Williams is a past chair and current board member of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation and serves on the executive committee of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group.

Raphael was recently named President and CEO of the New York State Broadcasters Association, succeeding longtime President and CEO David Donovan, who will remain with the organization overseeing government relations and advocacy.
