Nielsen Audio has signed a long-term multi-year deal with ICA Broadcasting. The new agreement includes diary ratings results for ICA's stations in Corpus Christi and Odessa-Midland, TX. Corpus Christi is classified as 2S for Diary Standard Measurement four times per year, while Odessa-Midland is classified as 2A for Diary Measurement with a 2-book average per year.
"Radio reaches nearly 90% of the population in each of these markets each week and, as a multi-station provider in both markets, it's critical for us to have Nielsen's effective audience measurement service," said ICA Broadcasting President Barry Marks. "Nielsen's reputation in the market and their comprehensive suite of audio product and services, will allow us to refine our programming, improve our marketing, and better serve our advertisers. We are pleased to return to Nielsen Audio as a subscriber and we look forward to our new relationship."
"We are excited to welcome ICA Broadcasting to the Nielsen family," added Nielsen Audio Managing Director Brad Kelly. "Under this agreement, we'll provide ICA with data and services that enable them to make the strategic decisions that will grow their business. Our services are best-in-class and the enhancements that we are making will help our clients tell their powerful reach story, effectively market their stations, and better compete for a share of advertising dollars."
