RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, August 24, 2016 |
WIL-FM (New Country 92.3) St. Louis taps Danny Montana for its midday slot, effective immediately. Montana has been with the Hubbard Country outlet since 1995 in overnights, then serving as a daytime air talent and show host, as well as Music Director. In 2003 he was named WIL Assistant Program Director. With his move to middays, Montana will continue in the APD/Music Director roles.
Montana commented, "It has been such a pleasure to be back on the air full time. The listeners of WIL are absolutely amazing and I feel so fortune to have the opportunity to connect with them on a daily basis." Danny adds, "I'm blessed to work for a terrific company with some incredibly talented people at a legendary station."
WIL PD Scott Roddy noted, "Danny worked very hard to earn this position - and the competition was tough! Danny's commitment to the WIL brand, new country, and our passionate followers make me proud to name him WIL's new midday personality. Danny compliments an exceptional team on the only live and local new country station in the 'Lou.'"
