Gabe Hobbs Launches Talent Management Company


Gabe Hobbs -- who has helped talkers Glenn Beck, Lionel and Brian James, launch their syndicated programs -- opens the doors on Gabe Hobbs Media, a talent management and media innovations company. The 35-year radio vet will representing clients such as CBS Radio, KFWB-AM/Los Angeles, "The Dave Ramsey Show," "The Schnitt Show," Tampa Bay Rays Baseball Club and "Road Kill Creative," among others.

Hobbs will be based in Tampa, Florida, and will offer a myriad of talent and media management services including corporate consulting, coaching, content and clock evaluation, content development and distribution, SWAT analysis, and mentoring.

Beck commented, "Gabe is a programming genius. There are very few people who understand what audiences like. He can really help hosts deliver it on a consistent basis without compromising their unique talents."

Hobbs began his carrer in music radio, programming CHR, Rock and AC stations. In 1989 at Jacor, he added news/talk/sports stations to his responsibilities while managing the southeast region. From 1998 through 2008, Hobbs oversaw the programming of Clear Channel's 275 news/talk/sports stations. Additionally, he served as the in-house consultant for Premiere Radio Networks where he was involved with such shows as Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Donald Trump, Bob Costas, Sean Hannity Show and Dr. Laura.
