Lotus Entravision Reps Appoints Parsons, Villafane
Lotus Entravision Reps appoints Don Parsons to VP/Southeast Region and Jose Villafane to Senior Account Executive/Northeast Region. Parsons, who joins from CaribeVision, will oversee the firm's Spanish-language stations in the Southeast region and will be based in Miami. Villafane, joining from Univision Television, will oversee sales in the Northeast region.
"Adding knowledgeable and experienced sales professionals who are well-versed in the Spanish-language media industry like Don and Jose demonstrates our ability to attract the best and brightest to serve our clients," said LER President Phillip Woodie. "We're pleased to welcome Don and Jose to the company and look forward to their contributions."
Previously Parsons was President of Sales at CaribeVision, where he led the sales division of the Spanish-language television station group with properties in New York, Miami and Puerto Rico. Prior to CaribeVision, he served as Southeast/Midwest Regional Sales Manager at Liberman Broadcasting.
Prior to joining LER, Villafane was Local and National Sales Manager for Univision Television in Atlanta. Before Univision, he was Southeast Region National Sales Manager at Radio Unica. Throughout his 13 year career, he's also worked at at Univision Radio and Katz Media Group. (07-06-10)
