iHeartMedia/St. Louis Launches ''Pride Radio''


iHeartMedia/St. Louis announces launches "Pride Radio St. Louis" on KSLZ-HD2 with the slogan "The Pulse of LGBT St. Louis." The new outlet is iHM's fourth radio station in the country with programming devoted to local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) listeners. The new station, a broadcast extension of the popular digital station Pride Radio on iHeartRadio, will kick off commercial free on June 22 at 2pm. It will feature dance remixes and pop hits from artists such as DNCE, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and others.

The station's on-air programming will include an emphasis on local community news, plus several music and entertainment shows throughout the day with popular air personalities: Ricky from 6-10am, Delana from 10am-2pm, Houston from 2-6pm, Pacey from 6-10pm and Christie from 10pm-12am. Pride Radio St. Louis will also feature special mixes, exclusive on-air interviews and localized online content.

"Our city has one of the most passionate LGBT communities in America and we look forward to an even greater bond with our local listeners as they engage with Pride Radio St. Louis' on-air personalities and programming, customized for our city!"

iHeartMedia St. Louis is the official radio partner of STL Pride and will celebrate with its listeners from June 24-26 with live public performances by recording artists Jordin Sparks, Shawn Hook, Karmin, Melanie Martinez and others. In addition, DNCE will participate in the Pride STL parade on the iHeartRadio float on Sunday, June 26.

Fans can listen to Pride Radio St. Louis at the station's website, PrideRadioSTL.com as well as on 107.7-HD2 in St. Louis, iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app, iHeartMedia's all-in-one music streaming and digital radio service.
