RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, May 31, 2017 |
Entercom and Westwood One launch KISW-FM/Seattle afternoon program, "The Men's Room," into national syndication on June 5 with eight large market stations on board -- WAAF-FM/Boston, KUFX-FM/San Jose, KRXQ-FM/Sacramento, KGON- FM/Portland, KQRC-FM/Kansas City, WKBU-FM/New Orleans, WCMF-FM/Rochester and KZND-FM/Anchorage. The program will originate from its flagship KISW-FM from 2-6pm. Westwood One is spearheading syndication and ad sales in a joint partnership with Entercom.
The Men's Room was born one evening in a dark bar during an argument over tater tots in 2004. The hosts, Miles Montgomery, Steve "The Thrill" Hill and Thee Ted Smith, as well as producers Robin Foxx and Mike Hawk joined forces to create a radio show with no-holds barred, no-topic-off-limits conversation, laughter and anecdotes. The show also launched a beer brand in 2010.
