Univision Names Antonio Roman Senior VP/NY Sales

Univision Communications appoints Antonio Roman to Senior VP/Local Media New York Sales. Roman will lead the company's NY-based sales teams across radio, TV, digital and experiential marketing. Roman will continue to be based in New York and will report to EVP Jorge Daboub. Most recently, he served as Senior VP/National Sales leading ad sales operations across eight offices, including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami and others.

"Antonio is the consummate ad sales executive and one of the most driven and creatives leaders on our Sales team. He's a veteran of the business who comes to the role with passion and deep experience that will elevate how we serve our clients in the area. New York is a highly competitive market and Antonio is the kind of Sales leader our team needs to meet the rapidly changing advertising landscape" said Univision New York President/General Manager Roberto Yanez. "His understanding of our diverse audience will ensure we continue to push barriers while delivering strategic results to make a lasting difference with our clients."

Prior to joining the National Sales team in 2012, Roman served in various positions within Univision since starting with the company in 1996, including account management, local sales management, business development and network sales, among his many roles. Roman started his career as an account executive for a Dallas-based advertising agency and as a broadcast buying supervisor at an advertising agency in San Antonio.
