Entercom in Station Exchange Deal with Urban One

Entercom has agreed to acquire WPHI-FM (Hip Hop 103.9) in Philadelphia, WHHL-FM (Hot 104.1) in St. Louis and WTEM-AM (980 The Team) in Washington, DC from Urban One. In exchange, Entercom will trade WLNK-FM (107.9 The Link), WBT-AM/FM (News Talk 1100 & 99.3) and WFNZ-AM in Charlotte to Urban One. Entercom will also acquire the format, brand and creative assets of Urban One's WFUN-FM (The Lou) in St. Louis, which it plans to relocate to KNOU-FM (96.3).
Entercom expects to begin operating the acquired stations under a Time Brokerage Agreement (TBA) on November 23.
