Des Moines Media Group has named Ryan Gibbons the new morning host at Rock KAZR-FM (LAZER 103.3) in Des Moines, effective Monday, October 26. His arrival is accompanied by several changes to the station's weekday lineup.

"I'm thrilled beyond words to join the legendary crew at LAZER 103.3," said Gibbons. "Huge thanks to OM Leigh McNabb, PD Styles, and GM Amber Battani for believing in me and giving me this phenomenal opportunity. Let's make some noise, LAZER Hellraisers!"

Gibbons brings experience from several major radio markets. He previously served as an air personality and producer for "Riggs and Alley" on Audacy's WXSS-FM (103.7 KISS-FM) in Milwaukee, joining the CHR station in September 2016. Before that, he worked as an on-air personality and producer for "The Danny Bonaduce Show" on KZOK-FM in Seattle.

LAZER 103.3 Program Director Wes Styles welcomed Gibbons, citing his energy and sense of humor.

"We're excited to have Gibbons join the LAZER team, bringing his amazing level of energy and sense of humor to Des Moines," said Styles. "He's already hitting the streets, meeting the Hellraisers, and invading the jumbotron at the Iowa Wild with one of the greatest air guitar solos in history."

With Gibbons taking over mornings, Styles moves to middays from 10am-2pm, while Ethan handles afternoon drive from 2-6pm. Samantha Knight remains in evenings from 6-11pm.

The new lineup takes effect October 26.
