EMF Closes on Acquisition of WROZ-FM Lancaster PA

Educational Media Foundation has closed on its acquisition of 7.4kW WROZ-FM (101.3)/Lancaster, PA from Hall Communications for a reported $1.7 million. Hall Communications is a Florida-based company headed by Arthur Rowbotham. Educational Media Foundation, is a California-based company headed by Bill Reeves.

"We have been well received in the Harrisburg area over 92.1 FM and were excited by the wider coverage offered on WROZ," which also covers Lancaster and York, said EMF Vice President of Signal Development Joe Miller. "We look forward to serving the area."

Kalil & Co. was the exclusive broker for this transaction.
