Global One Media Closes on Six Outlets in Elko NV

Global One Media Inc. has completed it acquisition of six outlets in Elko, NV, from Ruby Radio for $1 million. Included in the deal were Hot AC KHIX (Mix 96.7)/Carlin-Elko, Country KBGZ (Big Country 103.9). Classic Hits KUOL (94.5 Kool FM), K263BD/Spring Creek-Elko, K266AB and K299AN.

Global One Media is headed by 35-year radio veteran Richard Hudson as President/CEO. Hudson most recently spent 23 years working for CBS Radio in Los Angeles. Ruby Radio is headed by President Ken Sutherland.

George Kimble of Kozacko Media Services brokered the deal.
