Stu-Comm Closes on Buy of WTON-AM & FM/Stauton VA

Stu-Comm Inc. of Charlottesville, VA has closed on its acquisition of 1kW Sports WTON-AM (ESPN 1240 The Boss) and 340W Classic Hits WTON-FM (Star 94.3)/Staunton, VA from High Impact Communications. WTON-FM, which covers most of the Shenandoah Valley from a tower on Elliot Knob Mountain, will become a part of Stu-Comm's network across Virginia. The sale price was $550,000.
Guest Technology & Brokerage represented the buyer, Stu-Comm, Inc. There was no broker on the seller's side.
