The Sound of Life Radio Network, based in Kingston, NY, has filed a donation agreement with the FCC that gifts their twelve licenses and broadcast assets to Northwestern Media. Current Sound of Life employees will be joining the Northwestern Media team and will continue their work serving the Hudson Valley in New York.
"We're excited to become part of the Northwestern Media family as our next step in continuing to bring excellent Christian radio programming to the Northeast and beyond," said Sound of Life CEO Connie VanKleeck. "Our mission aligns with Northwestern's -- '...to lead people to Christ and nurture believers in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered media.' Our team looks forward to the support and community that will give us an even greater reach to the people of the Northeast."
"We are honored to work with Connie VanKleek and the Sound of Life Radio team," added Northwestern's Senior Vice President for Media Jason Sharp. "We look forward to continuing the work they've started and impacting this area with the good news."
