Gainesville FL Radio Group Purchases TV Station

Media Services Group

Hometown TV Network, an affiliate of MARC Radio Group LLC, has agreed to purchase low power television broadcast station WGVT-LD in Gainesville, FL from Budd Broadcasting Co. for $500,000. MARC Radio Group owns WHHZ-FM, WTMN-AM, WPLL-FM, WXJZ-FM, WTMG-FM, WDVH-AM, WRZN-AM, W231DH and W242CS in the Gainesville market. Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker for the buyer in this transaction.
