Gorilla Broadcasting has agreed to acquire WCEH-AM (610) & W241CO (96.1) in Hawkinsville, GA as wells as WDXQ-AM (1440) & W244CL (96.7) in Cochran, GA from Shanks Broadcasting for $390,000. Gorilla is is headed by Steven Lara and owns stations in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Shanks is a sports network headed by Managing Partner Bill Shanks. The company owns 9 stations in Middle Georgia, including Macon, and has an application on file to acquire translator W279AR in Jesup, GA.

Guest Technology & Brokerage represented the seller and is escrow agent in this transaction.
