M.T.D. Inc. Closes on Buy of Five Ruidoso, NM Stations

M.T.D. Inc. has closed on acquisition of five stations in Ruidoso, NM from Walton Stations. Included in the deal were 5kW KBUY-AM (1360), 1kW KWES-AM (1450), 25kW KWES-FM (93.5), 0.25kW K234AQ-FX (94.7) and 0.25kW K290AY-FX (105.9). Walton Stations is a New Mexico-based company headed by Tracy Knowlton and has no other broadcast interests. M.T.D. Inc. is a New Mexico-based company headed by William Rooney and owns four additional stations in New Mexico.

Kalil & Co. brokered the transaction for both parties.
