In a significant expansion of its broadcast portfolio, Main Street Media LLC has finalized the acquisition of six radio stations in Crossville, Tennessee, from PEG Broadcasting LLC. The stations involved in the transaction include 1.4kW AC WPBX-FM (99.3), 9kw Country WOWF-FM (105.3), 1kW Talk WAEW-AM (1330), 1kW Sports WCSV-AM (1490) and translators W242DH and W249DA.
PEG Broadcasting, led by Dawn and Reed Shaw, has opted to sell these stations as it steps away from broadcasting, having no remaining broadcast interests post-sale. This strategic divestiture marks the end of PEG's presence in the radio broadcasting sector.
Main Street Media, under the leadership of Chad Graves and Scot MacDonald, is strengthening its foothold in the Tennessee radio market with this purchase. The company already owns several stations in McMinnville, Morrison, Sparta, and Spencer, Tennessee, signaling a robust growth trajectory in regional broadcasting.
KALIL & CO., INC. served as the exclusive broker for this transaction, which expands Main Street Media's influence in Tennessee.
