WVFT-FM (Real Talk 93.3) will continue its legacy as Tallahassee's only locally owned radio station following its sale from Magic Broadcasting II, LLC to 923 Ventures, LLC, owned by longtime local broadcaster Jon Jopling. Jopling, who has led Magic Broadcasting's Panama City and Tallahassee operations as President and CEO since 2021, now assumes full ownership of WVFT.

A 23-year Tallahassee resident, Jopling says the station will maintain -- and expand -- its mission of providing authentic, community-focused radio driven by local voices.

"This transition isn't just about ownership -- it's about strengthening our commitment to the people of Florida's capital city," said Jopling. "We'll continue to focus on real news, real conversations, and real connections that matter to the people that live here -- delivered by people who live here, too."

Real Talk 93.3 is known for its lineup of trusted local personalities, including sports host Jeff Cameron, morning host Greg Tish, and investigative journalist Steve Stewart. The station currently airs more than 45 hours of locally produced programming each week, covering civic affairs, community events, and issues unique to Tallahassee.

Jopling emphasized that his new ownership role will allow the station to further deepen its local roots. "I've been privileged to be in charge of the station, but now, as the owner, I know our family will only get better."

The sale of WVFT follows Magic Broadcasting's broader exit from the Florida Panhandle radio market. As previously reported, Magic sold its Panama City cluster -- WILN-FM, WWLY-FM, WYOO-FM, and WYYX-FM -- to JVC Broadcasting, which is expanding its presence in the region.
