WCVO (104.9 The River) in Columbus, OH is expanding its team with the addition of two new hires -- Mike Basko and Wesley Phillips. Basko joins as the new producer for The River Morning Show, which features hosts Josh Hooper and Hannah Bauchmoyer. Originally from Lynchburg, VA, Basko previously worked at Spirit FM before making a return to Ohio, where he graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2024. His first day at The River is set for July 7.

"The River is doing amazing things throughout Ohio," Basko said. "I'm super excited to be a part of this team and the work God is doing through the station."

Also coming on board is Wesley Phillips, who joins the Donor Ministries team after working in sales, design, and marketing roles in the construction industry. A graduate of Cedarville University's Industrial Design Program in Columbus, Phillips said he's eager to be part of the station's mission.

"I am looking forward to working with such a close-knit group all working towards the goal of making Jesus' name known to as many people as possible and getting to know our donors," said Phillips.

River Radio Ministries currently operates 15 signals across Ohio, serving communities including Columbus, Wooster, Canton-Akron, Bellefontaine-Kenton, Newark, and Logan.
