K-LOVE has agreed to acquire 16kW AC WLDB-FM (93.3) and 8.8kW Alternative WLUM-FM (102.1) from Milwaukee Radio Alliance for $4 million. The deal remains subject to FCC approval. MRA -- a Wisconsin-based partnership that also operates other stations in the market -- will retain WZTI-AM (Fonz FM) and the Froggy MKE translators at 100.3 and 107.3. Based in Franklin, TN, K-LOVE operates the K-LOVE network across all 50 states.
K-LOVE already serves the area through WLVE-FM (105.3) licensed to Mukwonago; the new deal would expand its footprint in the Milwaukee market. According to July, 2025 Nielsen data WLDB ranked sixth in overall market share, while WLUM tied for 10th with WLVE.
Earlier this year, Milwaukee Radio Alliance saw several on-air departures, including Jon Adler (WLUM) and Melissa Jordan (WLDB), followed by John Schroeder (WLUM).
Kalil & Co., Inc. brokered the deal.
