Connoisseur Media to Sell Topeka Stations to KZNA Inc.

Connoisseur Media has reached an agreement to sell its Topeka, KS cluster to KNZA Inc., which operates locally as MSC Radio Group. The transaction, which includes KSAJ-FM (98.5 Jack FM), KTPK (Country 106.9), WIBW-AM (WIBW News), and WIBW-FM (The Big 94.5 Country), is pending approval from the FCC and is expected to close in early summer.

The sale is part of Connoisseur Media's broader strategy to refine its portfolio and concentrate resources in key growth markets following its acquisition of Alpha Media last September. The company said the move will also help ensure the Topeka stations continue operating under local ownership with a focus on community service across Northeast Kansas.

Jeff Warshaw, CEO and Founder of Connoisseur Media, said the stations have built strong connections with listeners and that the agreement positions them for continued success under MSC Radio Group.

MSC Radio Group President and Owner Justin Fluke said the acquisition will expand the company's presence in the region while reinforcing its commitment to local broadcasting. He noted the group plans to focus on serving listeners, supporting local businesses, and strengthening community ties through news, sports, and agriculture programming.

MSC Radio Group is currently the only locally based radio operator in Topeka, and the addition of the stations will broaden its footprint across Northeast Kansas.

Greg Guy of Tideline Partners served as exclusive broker representing the buyer. Connoisseur Media was represented by Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, while KNZA, Inc. was represented by Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, PLC.
