Riverfront Closes on Six South Dakota Stations

Riverfront Broadcasting has closed on its acquisition of six South Dakota radio stations from Connoisseur Media, expanding the company's portfolio of locally focused stations in the region.
The transaction includes KDLO-FM, KIXX-FM, KSDR-AM, KSDR-FM and KWAT-AM in Watertown, along with KKSD-FM in Milbank.
Riverfront Broadcasting is headed by Doyle and Carolyn Becker and operates radio and digital media properties serving smaller communities across South Dakota and Minnesota.
Seller Connoisseur Media, headed by Jeffrey Warshaw, operates more than 160 stations across dozens of U.S. markets.
The Watertown stations include KDLO-FM at 96.9, KIXX-FM at 96.1, KSDR-AM at 1480, KSDR-FM at 92.9 and KWAT-AM at 950. KKSD-FM in Milbank operates at 104.3.
Kalil & Co. served as the exclusive broker for the transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed.
