K-Love Inc. has closed on its acquisition of WNKS-FM in Charlotte and KXTE-FM in the Las Vegas market from Beasley Media Group Licenses. The closing completes a transaction first announced in August. Financial terms were not disclosed. Kalil & Co. served as the exclusive broker.
WNKS operates on 95.1 MHz with 100kW at 1,542 feet HAAT. The station had been Beasley's CHR "KISS 95.1." Ahead of the sale, Beasley moved the station's Maney and LauRen morning show to sister WKQC-FM (104.7).
KXTE, licensed to Pahrump, NV, operates on 107.5 MHz with 24.5kW at 3,730 feet HAAT. Beasley previously moved KXTE's Alternative programming and branding to sister KVGS-FM, allowing the format to continue following the sale.
When the agreement was announced, K-Love CEO Tom Stultz said the organization looked forward to adding the signals and expanding its mission in Charlotte, Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
Kalil & Co. was the exclusive broker for this transaction.
