WKHX/Atlanta APD/Afternoon Host Scott Gaines to Exit

Scott Gaines plans to exit Cumulus Media's Country WKHX-FM (Kicks 101.5)/Atlanta as Assistant Program Director and afternoon host in early December in a return to Dallas. Gaines joined WKHX in 2017 and most recently served as interim PD until the arrival of Mike Moore in October. Before WKHX, he handled afternoons at co-owned Country WGKX-FM/Memphis. Prior to that, Gaines occupied afternoons at WSM-FM (95.5 Nash Icon)/Nashville.
Gaines has also previously served as APD/Music Director and afternoon talent at then-Country WDTW-FM/Detroit, as well as Operations Manager for Country KUSJ-FM/Killeen-Temple, TX. He's also worked for Westwood One's Mainstream Country, NASH Icon and Country Gold formats as an air personality.
