Veteran Salt Lake City air personality Scott Fisher is retiring from iHeartMedia Classic Hits KODJ-FM, where he hosted 10am-3pm weekdays. Over his career, he's also worked in mornings at KOSY-FM and KISN-FM in Salt Lake, and held on-air stints at KFMY/Provo UT, WHYI-FM (Y100) and WQAM-AM/Miami and WSAI-AM/Cincinnati.
In a letter to listeners posted on KODJ's website, Fisher noted that despite assuming he'd be there for a short time before moving to a larger market, "Almost 38 years later, I'm still here, still on the radio, and thoroughly a Utahn."
Fisher will continue to host the syndicated "Extreme Genes - America's Family History Show," on a weekly basis distributed by Skip Joeckel's Talk Shows USA and airing on co-owned News/Talk KNRS.
