Veteran air personality Ginny Harman joins KATJ-FM (Kat County 100) in Victor Valley, CA for middays from 10am-3pm on the Country outlet. Harman began her career in Cleveland and has over 25 years on the air in markets such as Nashville, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Austin and most recently at K-FROG 95.1 in Riverside-San Bernardino since 2017.
Harman said, "Whether hosting a show, or flying over and reporting on a fire or accident, my love for radio never wanes." One of the highlights of her career was meeting country legends George Jones and Johnny Cash. She loves giving back the community and involved in many charitable organizations.
"I listed to Ginny when she was on the air in Phoenix and later on KFRG," said El Dorado Broadcasters VP/Programming Mark Mitchell. "When we had the opportunity to bring in someone of her caliber for KATJ-FM, there was no hesitation."
"This is a good time for us to expand our staff, while others are looking at contracting," added El Dorado Broadcasters Executive VP Chris Fleming. "Everything we see from the audience is a desire for connectable, relatable on air personalities and Ms. Harman fits that bill."
