Smith Joins 106.5 The Beat/Richmond for Middays

Candice Smith joins WBTJ-FM (106.5 The Beat) in Richmond, VA as midday host, weekdays from 10am-2pm ET, effective immediately. Smith, a Virginia native, works as NBC12's "About Town" reporter and morning traffic reporter. A three-time Emmy Award winner, Smith will continue in her role at NBC12.

"I'm delighted to welcome Candice and her wonderful talent to 106.5 The Beat," said Audacy Richmond Senior VP and Market Manager Bennett Zier. "Her personality, talent and ties to RVA make her the perfect addition to The Beat's already powerful programming lineup."
