WGKX-FM (KIX 106)/Memphis names Andrew "Latty" Latimer as morning host for the Cumulus Country outlet beginning May 31. A native Memphian, Latimer graduated from Germantown High School and attended The University of Memphis before launching his radio career. He was previously morning host crosstown Classic Hits WHBQ-FM (Q107.5) and was also an air personality for Memphis stations Rock WIVG-FM (I96) and CHR KWNW-FM (101.9 Kiss FM).

Cumulus Memphis Vice President/Market Manager Morgan Bohannon said, "Latty is a Memphis guy and is excited about being on a heritage brand like KIX 106, which will celebrate 40 years on-air in 2023. He's high energy, smart, creative, and lives an active lifestyle with a great work ethic. He's just the perfect fit."

KIX 106 Program Director Chad Heritage commented, "We are excited to have Latty join the KIX 106 morning show. He knows the market and is going to bring a lot of energy and creativity to Cumulus Memphis and will help make the KIX 106 brand even bigger and better."
