Market Vet Jamey Karr Takes Middays on KGNC/Amarillo

Market vet Jamey Karr returns to Alpha Media as midday host for Country KGNC-FM/Amarillo, TX. He replaces Kelsey Schuler, who made the move to Country WZZK-FM in Birmingham in March. Before retiring, Karr was with crosstown Townsquare Media AC KMXJ (Mix 94.1). Previously, Karr spent 18 years with Alpha Media as morning host for KXGL in Amarillo, becoming Operations Manager for the cluster from 2016-2018.

"I literally came out of retirement for this opportunity," said Karr. "My thanks to everyone at Alpha Media for making it easy for me to come back home."
