Miss Jones Joins 94.7 The Block In New York for Mornings

Miss Jones joins WXBK-FM (94.7 The Block) in New York as morning show host, weekdays from 6-10am beginning August 22. Miss Jones, also known as Jonesy, is the first African American female to be syndicated on morning radio in North America. The Queens, NY native's two-decade long radio career includes Hot 97 in New York and Philadelphia's Power 99 and The Beat. Miss Jones discovered, taught and influenced some of the biggest talents in radio and entertainment including Stephen A. Smith, Ebro from Hot 97 and DJ Envy from "The Breakfast Club."

"Jonesy is a person of many talents and I'm so excited to witness the fun and excitement she'll add to morning radio in New York City on 94.7 The Block," said 94.7 The Block Brand Manager Skip Dillard. "Welcome home."
